A new identity for the Domaine de la Roche Couloir
Since its creation, the Domaine de la Roche Couloir has always sought to reflect its values of welcome, authenticity and conviviality. The story of our logo reflects this evolution: a journey towards a stronger, more coherent brand identity that is closer to our customers.
A logo rooted in the history of the place
Before becoming a venue for seminars, weddings and private events, the Domaine de la Roche Couloir Was a old hunting lodge, nestled in the heart of the Chevreuse Valley. This past was reflected in his original logo, both simple and evocative.
A logo in the shape of a target
Its round visual, with concentric blue, white, green and brown circles, clearly evoked a target, an assumed nod to his hunting past. At its center, a stylized bird silhouette, a symbol of nature and freedom, brought a more poetic and organic dimension to the whole. This circular logo, with capitals, embodied a strong and distinct identity, proudly attached to its territory: Roche Couloir — Chevreuse.
This symbol has accompanied the estate for many years, helping to establish its local reputation and affirm its character.
Today, the Domaine de la Roche Couloir takes a new step by joining the universe of Domaines & événements, alongside other exceptional locations across France. This change is naturally accompanied by a evolution of its graphic identity.
A thoughtful, harmonious and respectful transition
With the expansion of our vision and the integration of new locations within Domaines & événements, we have evolved our visual identity. Our objective was twofold:
Unify the logos of the various fields to reflect a common belonging.
Preserve the soul and uniqueness of each place.
This evolution marks an important step in our desire to establish a clear graphic line between Domaines & événements and each of its areas. The new logos: graphic harmony.
Domain logos
The standardized “Domain” mention: presented in typed characters, it evokes the writing of “Domaines” in the main logo.
A handwriting for each proper name: in order to maintain the uniqueness of each domain.
Appropriate colors: each domain has specific declinations, chosen to reflect its identity.
New fonts: identical for all areas, they reinforce visual coherence.
The monogram with the design of the poplars represents the characteristic entrance to the estate.
The “D de la RC” monogram: an iconic emblem
In addition to the main logo, a graphic monogram was created: “D from RC”, accompanied by a drawing of a fern. This stylized fern pays homage, bordered by majestic trees.
One brand, several stories
This visual transformation is not intended to erase the story, but to Enroll it in a collective project ambitious. By joining Domaines & événements, La Roche Couloir stay true to its past while looking to the future. Thanks to this new logo, she gains in readability and consistency And in brand power, while continuing to tell its own story.
On September 29, 2020, Domains & evenements and the Domaine de la Roche Couloir celebrated the inauguration of the Domaine de la Roche Couloir in Chevreuse, marking a new stage in the metamorphosis of this place nestled in the heart of the forest. Formerly dedicated mainly to hosting professional seminars (MICE), the estate is now opening its doors to a new dimension: weddings and private events, in a natural and poetic setting.
A unifying event in the heart of nature
120 guests, friends, partners, customers, customers, prospects and local businesses attended this inaugural evening. A warm and friendly atmosphere quickly settled in the heart of the forest, magnified by careful lighting and floral decoration signed Lilas Bohème, whose compositions enhanced the reception and ceremony spaces.
A wedding shoot... and a nice true story
To reveal the full potential of the place as a forest wedding area, a wedding inspired shooting was designed by Domaines & événements, in collaboration with the photographer Pascal Vo. The magic of the place came to life thanks to Shirley and Anthony, the models of the day, who were not playing a role, because they are really in a relationship in real life!
And that's not all: it was Shirley's very first day on the Domaines & événements team, as a marketing collaborator. It's hard to dream of a more beautiful introduction than a marriage (fictional... for now!) in a magical place, surrounded by her new colleagues and caring guests. One thing is certain: she will never forget that first day. So when is the real wedding? 😉
